Seattle Symphony: Dolly Parton's Threads – My Songs in Symphony brings a symphonic celebration of Dolly Parton's music to Benaroya Hall – S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium in Seattle, Washington. The program is scheduled for January 21 and 22, 2027, with the Seattle Symphony performing. It offers a classical concert setting for hearing songs associated with one of country music's most enduring songwriters.
Dolly Parton's career spans decades of songwriting and performance, with a catalog that includes beloved songs such as “Jolene,” “9 to 5” and “I Will Always Love You.” The symphonic format gives the music a fresh orchestral perspective while retaining the melodies that have made her work widely recognized. The January 21–22 engagement is a limited Seattle run, so checking the listings on tacoma-tickets.com can help attendees compare availability for both dates. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs varying by seat and availability.
Located in downtown Seattle, Benaroya Hall is a prominent performance venue near the city's cultural and dining destinations. Attendees can plan an evening around the concert by allowing time to reach the hall and explore the surrounding downtown area. The S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium's indoor concert setting is well suited to an orchestral program, where clear sightlines and attentive listening are part of the experience.
Seating preferences depend on whether the priority is a close view of the performers or a broader perspective on the orchestra. Seats nearer the stage can bring the musicians into sharper visual focus, while more central locations may offer a balanced view of the ensemble. Review the seating map and the specific seat details before choosing, as sightlines and availability can vary.
Benaroya Hall is a dedicated concert venue, and arriving early allows time to locate the auditorium and settle in before the performance. For an orchestral presentation, consider how your preferred distance from the stage and viewing angle may shape the experience.
Parking availability and rates can change, so confirm current details with the facility before your visit. Downtown Seattle may be busy around event times; allow extra time to park and walk to the hall.
